Description
High-Performance Acid & Chemical-Resistant Mortar
CNSL Resin Mortar, also known as Cashewmor Mortar, is a premium acid-resistant and chemical-resistant mortar designed for industrial applications. Ideal for bedding and jointing acid-resistant bricks and tiles, it provides excellent adhesion to concrete, ceramic, and metal surfaces, making it perfect for tanks, floors, pipelines, and ETP plants.
This industrial-grade resin mortar withstands acids, alkalies, and mixed chemical solutions, offering long-lasting chemical resistance in demanding environments. Its self-hardening and impact-resistant formulation ensures durable performance even under heavy loads, making it suitable for industrial flooring, and chemical storage tanks.
Key Features
High-performance acid and chemical-resistant mortar
Strong adhesion to ceramic, concrete, and metal surfaces
Resistant to acids, alkalies, and salt solutions
Suitable for industrial tanks, drains, and flooring
Applications
Chemical plants
industrial floors
ETP plants

Chemical & Temperature Resistance
- Resistant to acids, alkalies, and mixed alkaline solutions with acids
- Maximum service temperature: 170°C
Surface Preparation
- Surfaces must be cement-plastered, dry, clean, and free of dust, dirt, grease, or oil.
- Slight roughness ensures proper bonding with the substrate.
- Apply a protective monolithic membrane on the cleaned surface before placing bricks or tiles.
- Maintain required slopes; adjustments cannot be made after lining.
Preparation & Mixing
CNSL Resin Mortar is a two-component system consisting of Solution and Powder.
01
Typical mixing ratio: 1 part by weight (pbw) Solution : 3 pbw Powder
02
Prepare small batches for consistent results.
03
Stir the Solution thoroughly before use.
04
Add Powder gradually to the Solution in a mixing pan.
05
Mix thoroughly with a spatula or trowel until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
06
Use the entire batch before preparing a new one.
Setting & Curing
- Curing occurs through a controlled chemical polymerization reaction
- Working time (pot life at 30 °C): 15–25 minutes
- Initial cure: 6–8 hours at 30 °C
- Light service: 24 hours
- Full chemical resistance: 5–7 days
