Description
High-Performance Chemical & Corrosion-Resistant Coating
Epoxy-Based Coal Tar is a premium industrial coating designed for corrosion protection and chemical resistance on metal, concrete, and steel surfaces. It combines the excellent adhesion and chemical durability of epoxy with the waterproofing and protective properties of coal tar, making it ideal for tanks, pipelines, industrial floors, and underground structures exposed to harsh chemicals and moisture.
This two-component epoxy coal tar system provides high resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and water, forming a tough, impermeable, and long-lasting protective layer. Its easy application using brushes or rollers ensures uniform coverage, while rapid curing allows the coated surfaces to be put into service quickly. Epoxy-Based Coal Tar is particularly suitable for oil storage tanks, chemical plants, sewage treatment structures, and marine environments.

Chemical & Corrosion Resistance
- Excellent resistance to water, seawater, and saline environments
- Highly resistant to soil corrosion and sewage
- Good resistance to dilute acids, alkalies, and industrial effluents
- Excellent resistance to chloride attack
- Not recommended for strong oxidizing acids or aromatic solvents
Surface Preparation
- Steel surfaces: Abrasive blast cleaning to Sa 2½ as per ISO 8501-1
- Concrete surfaces: Clean, dry, free from laitance, oil, grease, and loose particles
- Ensure surfaces are dry and free from condensation before application
- Apply suitable epoxy primer if specified
Mixing & Application
Epoxy-Based Coal Tar is supplied as a two-component system consisting of Base and Hardener.
01
Mix base and hardener thoroughly in the specified ratio
