Fluid Sulphur-Based Acid-Resistant Mortar
Sulphomor Mortar is a single-component sulphur-based mortar containing plasticizer and filler, designed for bedding and jointing acid-resistant bricks and tiles. Its highly fluid consistency allows easy pouring, ensuring complete coverage and strong adhesion.
It resists non-oxidizing acids, dilute oxidizing acids, and natural salts, and withstands temperatures up to 90°C. The self-hardening formulation ensures durable protection, while careful heating provides a uniform, chemical-resistant lining for industrial floors, tanks, and walls.

Chemical & Temperature Resistance
- Resistant to non-oxidizing acids, dilute oxidizing acids, and natural salts
- Maximum service temperature: 90°C
Surface Preparation
- Surfaces must be cement-plastered, dry, clean, and free of dust, dirt, grease, and oil
- Maintain slight roughness for proper adhesion
- Slopes can be adjusted or altered during application as required
Safety & Precautions
- Overheating or ignition may cause the mortar to burn with a low blue flame.
- In case of fire, cover the vessel immediately with a tight lid or wet gunny bags.
- Avoid adding water or damp mortar to the heating vessel to prevent foaming.
- Allow overheated mortar to cool and stir to achieve proper consistency before use.
- Use PPE including gloves and safety glasses during handling.
